A wired security system requires wires to be physically run to each sensor in the system. It is best suited for new construction or buildings under construction. Otherwise, the labor cost of a wired system can quickly become more expensive than a wireless system, even though the equipment cost itself is usually less expensive.
Wireless security systems are easier and more convenient to install than wired, but the hardware is typically more expensive. A wireless system can be activated and deactivated. Plus, if you relocate to a new facility, you can uninstall the system and reinstall it in a new location. Keep in mind that you must periodically replace the batteries in these systems.
I-Tech Security can help you select the system that is right for you.
